ProJanta Decarbonising Powder 5kg is a blended alkaline detergent designed to remove burnt-on carbon deposits from kitchen equipment and utensils quickly and effectively.
Ideal for use in specialist soak tanks, it also acts as an excellent degreaser for treating grease traps and helping unblock drains. Create a working solution by adding powder to water (never the reverse) to minimise splashing. Due to its corrosive nature, handle with care and wear suitable PPE, then rinse thoroughly after soaking or drain treatment.

DECARBONISING POWDER
Please be aware pH values may be approximated on a scale between two values, this table uses the most acidic value provided by manufacturer. Please refer to the provided Safety Data Sheet, or specification table below for approximate pH values. For diluted values, please refer to the SDS/COSHH document below.
Instructions for use
- Drains: Mix 250g powder with 4.5L water. Always add powder to water while stirring to avoid splashes. Carefully pour down the drain.
- Kitchen utensils: Make the same solution (250g to 4.5L water). Soak utensils until carbon deposits loosen, then rinse thoroughly.
- Grease trap filters: Make the same solution and soak filters for an extended period to loosen deposits. Check periodically, then scrub thoroughly and rinse well.
