Directions for Use:

Begin by preparing the carpet cleaning machine. Add ELITE Liquid Defoamer to the recovery tank (dirty water tank) at a dilution rate of 1:500, then add ELITE Extraction Clean to the clean water tank at the recommended dilution of 1:80 and top up the remainder of the tank with clean water.

Before starting the main clean, prepare the carpeted area by treating any stubborn stains with ELITE Carpet Stain Away, applying generously to the affected areas, allowing it to dry fully, then brushing and vacuuming away the crystallised residue, in turn lifting the stains from the fibres.  Next, spray ELITE Traffic Lane Cleaner onto main walkways and any heavily soiled areas, allowing it to dwell while the rest of the area is prepared.  In areas where carpets have built-up odours, apply ELITE Lemon Deodoriser by spray at a dilution of 1:30 before beginning extraction cleaning.

Begin to clean the carpet using steady passes with the machine until the area is complete, or until the recovery tank requires emptying and the clean water tank needs refilling, then continue as necessary. Once the carpet has been cleaned to the required standard, carry out a final rinse using ELITE Fabric Rinse diluted at 1:80 in the clean water tank. Make further passes over the carpet to neutralise alkaline residues, help stabilise colours and reduce the risk of yellowing in the fibres.
