ProJanta C.E.D. Catering Equipment Descaler 5L is a powerful acidic descaler for heavy-duty removal of hard-water limescale on catering equipment. Suitable for stainless steel and chrome appliances, it can be diluted up to 1:20 for general descaling or used neat for heavy-duty scale build-up. Apply the prepared solution to the item (heating to 50°C for best results), soak until scale is removed, then rinse thoroughly—an extra rinse is recommended to help ensure no residue remains.

Please be aware pH values may be approximated on a scale between two values, this table uses the most acidic value provided by manufacturer. Please refer to the provided Safety Data Sheet, or specification table below for approximate pH values. For diluted values, please refer to the SDS/COSHH document below.
Instructions for use
- General descaling: Dilute up to 1:20 with water
- Heavy-duty descaling: Use neat
- Add prepared solution to the item; for best results heat to 50°C
- Leave to soak until all scale is removed
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then perform a second rinse to help ensure no residue remains
Dishwashing machine descaling procedure
- Switch off dosing equipment
- Fill dishwasher with fresh water and add 200ml descaler to the water
- Circulate for 10–15 minutes, then drain and inspect
- Refill with fresh water and circulate with water only for 10–15 minutes
- Allow to dry with door open, then switch dosing equipment back on
